UC Irvine Video Game Developer's Club

While I did not attend a video game school, my interests and ambitions were always aligned with the industry. During my time at UC Irvine, I spent 3 years in the Video Game Developers club. I met some of my closest friends and still keep in contact with many of them (a lot of whom are in the industry as well). Frankly, this club was the best thing about my education. Full stop.

It's important to remember where you came from. To not forget your beginnings. However, there's quite a few that I did not post, either because I don't think it's worth digging up, or I sadly just can't find any reference material for them. Posted chronologically from their creation dates.

SLicense to Dye

FREE on Google Play Store

3 day game jam, turned into a year long project.

A combination of frantic swiping and thoughtful maneuvering, SLicense to Dye is a student produced mobile game that challenges the link between thought and action. Facing off against the lice menace, Lou must overcome his fear of lice and secure his head from the invaders. Overcome not just the lice, but their cunning and seemingly impossible tricks - color bombs, tough as nails barrels, scary blankets, dimension bending burrowing, and the power of ninjas - if not for Lou, for humanity’s sake….or something.
